Introduction

The Branch of Planning, Policy, and Review, Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, U.S. Department of Labor, has compiled a set of 20 tables on various provisions available under State workers’ compensation laws.  However, this will be the U.S. Department of Labor’s last year compiling and publishing this information.  For future state workers’ compensation information, you can go to www.workerscompensation.com or contact your individual state workers’ compensation office.

We would like to thank the State Workers’ Compensation Administrators and their staffs for the time and effort that went into providing the necessary information for this publication.

At the time of printing, the Branch had not received updated information from the District of Columbia , Idaho , New York , South Carolina , Washington , Puerto Rico , and the Virgin Islands .  We have therefore, printed the latest available information that we have for that jurisdiction.
